| "If the story's good, the acting's good, and the directing's good, you should be able to do a show anywhere." - GreyZelda The GreyZelda Theatre Group resolves to create and perform honest, quality driven theatre. The focus of the Group is to create work that is explorative socially, personally, emotionally, and artistically while emphasizing unconventional methods of staging, casting, and storytelling. The Group hopes to reach audiences who are looking to be inspired and challenged by intuitive risk-taking. A core belief of the group is that to conceive the future, one must understand the past. We want our audiences to feel that by sharing the experience with us they have something everlasting to hold on to. The GreyZelda Theatre Group vows to create an environment of mutual respect and continued artistic growth of all members involved, including, but not limited to: actors, musicians, directors, designers, and other multimedia artists. We strive to be an experience to be proud of and to bring back to the disenchanted artists of the world a sense of the magic and universal that originally drew us to the craft. The Group places emphasis on the creative process while ensuring a quality production through the collaboration of the ensemble. Transferring this axiom to the stage is accomplished by combining traditional methods of realism with various blends of directing, acting, and performance techniques, as well as infusing works of great literature into the repertoire by way of adaptation. The work ethic of the group is blue-collar with a do-it-yourself independence of spirit. Interested artists can submit resumes, scripts and/or headshots to: The GreyZelda Theatre Group 4725 N.
